Jay M. Tenenbaum

Dr. Jay M. Tenenbaum, the Chairman and Chief Scientist of Veo Systems Incorporated, is widely acknowledged as a founder of Internet commerce and one of its leading visionaries. In 1997, he co-founded CN group to extend and commercialise his vision of "component-based commerce". He remains the Chairman of CommerceNet and currently serves on the boards of six Internet start-ups.

Mr. Kimura is a Deputy General Manager of Information Systems and Services de Mitsubishi, which conducts communications, broadcasting, and media related businesses through number of subsidiaries and overseas branch offices. Concurrently he directly oversees Integrated IT Business Unit, which incubates new business opportunities and manages the electronic commerce technology portfolio.

Mr. Paul Timmers is Head of Sector in DGIII responsible for Electronic Commerce. He has been very active in promoting research on the possible organisational impact of EC within the ESPRIT Programme.

Mr. Rodolfo Carpintier is Chairman of CommerceNet Español and author of the book "Internet Hoy". He is also Director of Marketing and New Channels for the CORTEFIEL Group. Responsible for the CN Spain Marketing Working Group.

Mr. Patrick Gannon is a leading expert in virtual catalogues. He is Project Leader of the RosettaNet consortium (based on the e-CO system) and Director of the Open Buying on the Internet (OBI) Consortium.

Mr. Martin Bryan is a leading European expert in XML/EDI. He is also proprietor of The SGML Centre, (UK). He was the first SGML Products Manager for SEMA Group.

Mr. Daniele Gerundino, member of the Steering Committee, is founder and Managing Director of MATE, a company providing decision support and strategic planning services to the IT industries in Italy.

Dr. Walid Mougayar, founder and Chairman of CommerceNet Canada is a leading expert in electronic commerce and author of the book "Opening Digital Markets".

Mr. Ferenc Szelényi Director of Electronic Commerce Solutions in IBM, will be presenting a leading SET- based experience with PBS, Denmark.

Mr. Santiago Jimenez Barrul, is a chief adviser on electronic commerce within the TELEFONICA Group and Vice-chairman of CommerceNet Spain.
